Our commitment

ChitterChatter is committed to providing an inclusive experience for learners, educators, and visitors with disabilities. We work to make our public website and language-learning platform perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Our accessibility goal

ChitterChatter aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We are not claiming verified full conformance while validation across platform-specific browser and assistive-technology combinations remains in progress.

Measures we take

Accessibility is included in our design, development, testing, and remediation work. Measures taken include:

• Independent accessibility review and issue tracking.
• Keyboard-only and automated accessibility testing.
• Review of headings, landmarks, names, focus behavior, and form controls.
• Assistive-technology testing with combinations such as VoiceOver, Voice Control, and NVDA where relevant.
• Ongoing remediation and regression testing as the product changes.

Browser and assistive-technology compatibility

ChitterChatter is designed for current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, together with current operating-system accessibility features and screen readers. For the best experience, use the latest available version of your browser and assistive technology.

Known limitations and testing status

We continue to validate interactions whose behavior can vary by browser, operating system, and assistive technology, including voice control, screen-reader focus, and native date and media controls. If a feature does not work for you, please contact us so we can investigate the barrier and help identify an alternative way to complete the task.

Report an accessibility barrier

If you experience an accessibility barrier, email us at support@chitterchatter.app. Selecting the email address opens your default email application.

When possible, include the page address, the task you were trying to complete, your browser and device, and the assistive technology you were using. This information helps us reproduce and address the issue.

Assessment approach

We assess accessibility through independent review, source-code inspection, automated checks, keyboard testing, and assistive-technology testing. We will update this statement as our testing status and accessibility work change.
