Let's create a class in ChitterChatter. We're already signed in with an instructor account.

In the left sidebar, select Classes.

If this is your first class, Create your first class is available in the center. You can also use Add class in the upper right. We'll click Add class.

Enter your Course Code. For this example, we'll use SPAN-201.

Next, enter a clear Class Title, such as Intermediate Spanish.

Choose a Class Color to help you recognize the class. We'll use purple.

Check the Institution. Select the school this class belongs to, or choose Independent if it isn't associated with a school. We're using Demo University.

Open the Term menu and check the dates, not just the term name. We'll choose the fall semester.

If you need a different schedule, Set custom dates lets you enter a term name, start date, and end date.

For a single class section, leave I have multiple class sections unchecked. If you teach several sections, check it and enter their codes, separated by commas or new lines.

We're creating one section here. Review the course code, title, institution, and term.

When everything looks right, click Create Class.

Your class is created. Its class page opens with the course title and term at the top. That's all you need to create your class in ChitterChatter.
