Joining Your Class

Find your enrolled classes, explore the class workspace, and understand what's available.

7 sections

Find Your Classes

From the sidebar on the left, click on Classes. This is where all your enrolled classes live — every class you've been added to will appear here.

Lemon says: Welcome! Your instructor has invited you to a class — let's go find it and get you set up!

Your Classes Page

Each card on this page represents an enrolled class. You'll see the course code, class title, section, instructor name, and term.

  • If your instructor added you, the class appears automatically — no action needed. If you see "Classroom access is currently unavailable" or "Classroom access starts soon," you're enrolled; ask your instructor about access
  • Have a class code? Choose "Enter class code" to request to join — the class appears after your instructor approves it
  • Active classes are shown by default — use the toggle to view archived (past-term) classes
  • Open Activities in the sidebar to see every assigned activity across all your classes at once
Tip: Classes whose term has ended automatically move to the Archived tab.

Lemon says: If you don't see any classes yet, your instructor may not have added you. Reach out to them and they can send you an invitation or a class code!

Open a Class

Click on any class card to open its workspace. This is your hub for everything happening in that class — assignments, due dates, turning work in, and your progress.

Lemon says: Think of the workspace as your home base for a class. Everything you need is organized into tabs across the top!

Overview Tab

The Overview tab gives you an at-a-glance snapshot of your class. It shows what's waiting on you, what's coming up, and your progress.

  • Waiting on you — anything overdue, due soon, or still to turn in, with a button to take care of it
  • My Progress — your completion count, total practice sessions, total time spent, and average time per session
  • Coming up — the next two weeks of due dates and newly opening activities; click a title to see details
Tip: The "Coming up" section is your best friend for planning ahead!

Lemon says: Check the Overview tab regularly to stay on top of what's due soon.

Assignments Tab

The Assignments tab shows all the practice activities your instructor has assigned to your section. Each activity has a color-coded status badge so you can quickly tell what needs your attention.

  • Green (Completed) — you're all done!
  • Orange (Due Soon) — the deadline is within 3 days
  • Red (Overdue) — past the due date and not yet completed
  • Blue (Not started) — open and ready for you to start practicing
  • Upcoming — not available yet, but coming soon
Tip: Use the search bar and filters to quickly find a specific assignment.

Lemon says: You can use the Start button on any activity to jump straight into a practice session. Sort by status or due date, and toggle between card view and list view to find what works best for you!

Progress Tab

The Progress tab gives you a detailed breakdown of your performance across all assignments in the class. Each row shows your session count, average time, and when you last practiced.

  • For your full practice history, open Progress in the sidebar and select the activity
  • Review past session feedback on the Progress page to track your improvement over time
  • Use this tab to identify which activities could benefit from more practice

Lemon says: Repetition is your secret weapon! Practicing the same activity more than once lets you apply your feedback and see real progress.

People Tab

The People tab shows everyone in your section — your instructors and classmates. It's a quick way to see who's in your class and who to reach out to if you need help.

Lemon says: You're all set! Head to the Assignments tab and start your first practice conversation. The more you practice, the more confident you'll get. Have fun!
